Abrasive Wheel Mounting

The aim of this course is to provide the participant with the skills, knowledge and confidence to responsibly and safely install, operate, and maintain abrasive wheel tools in accordance with the relevant regulations. The course is highly participative with emphasis on the practical element of the training. Note: This course is specific to tools associated with abrasive wheels and not the safe use of power tools in general.

DESCRIPTION

Abrasive wheels training is legally required for anyone involved in the purchase, selection, storage, handling, mounting, dressing and use of abrasive wheels. This includes all types of abrasive wheels either fixed (e.g. Bench grinders or polishers) or portable (e.g. angle grinders).

PREREQUISITES

Participants must be minimum of 18 years old.
